I know amateur radio operators do not readily admit to using CB radio, but I was poking around in the loft and came across a pair of Amstrad CB-901's from way back in 1981.
I purchased the first of these just after they were released in November of that year. and a short gold Firestick from a long gone CB retailer that was set up in the back of a garage. I think that establishment was pulled down well over 30 years ago. That got me on the air. My father purchased the other for use in his lorry but never actually installed or used it, so still in mint condition.
Now, where did that antenna go?
